How to Size:
All Hess Awards jackets are unisex.
If you are in 9th or 10th grade, you will probably grow, so think about getting a size larger than you currently measure!
Think about the climate in your area. Will you wear over one base layer or will you wear your jacket over a sweater or hoodie?
If you know someone else with a Maverick Jacket, ask if you can try theirs on for size!
How to Measure:
Chest: Relax and let arms hang by your side. Measure around your chest at your armpits and keep the tape parallel to the floor.
Arms: Put your hand on your hip with your elbow bent at 90 degrees. Place one end of the measuring tape at the center back of your neck. Measure across the shoulder, to your elbow, and down to your wrist. This total length is your sleeve length.
Note: Alterations can be made to both the length of the sleeves and body (add or remove 2-4”). This can be found on your jacket order form.
Please note that approximate weights are just a guideline.
The best way to find correct fit is to try a friend’s jacket on!
